Do not be fooled - all nanny placement agencies are not the same!
The key to determining the quality of a nanny referral agency is simple:
examine the quality of its in-home childcare candidates. We at Be Our Nanny never forget this maxim. That is why we employ the absolute highest standards and practices for selecting our in-home child care candidates. The result is that we provide an unparalleled pool of committed professionals from which families can select. A candidate cannot be considered eligible for placement by Be Our Nanny until successfully passing all six of our exhaustive screening requirements.


    Each In-Home Childcare Candidate MUST:
  1. Be prescreened via an intense telephone interview.
  2. Participate in an extensive personal interview and complete our comprehensive written application.
  3. Have each individual reference checked and verified by Be Our Nanny.
  4. Have all previous non-childcare employment and education verified by Be Our Nanny.
  5. Pass a background check by a licensed private investigative firm, as a result of which the potential candidate must:
        a) have no prior criminal record;
        b) possess a clear and valid driver's license record; and
        c) possess a valid social security number which corresponds exclusively to and confirms the identity of the potential candidate.
  6. Make a one-year committment to remain with a family for permanent placements.

At Be Our Nanny, we always strive to make the "perfect match" of family needs, desires and expectations with candidate attributes and qualities. To meet this goal, we obtain directly from you a plethora of pertinent detailed information which we utilize to locate highly compatible candidates.

Be Our Nanny pays impeccable attention to detail and diligent regard for your family's particular needs and expectations in deciding which candidates to refer. In short, we always seek to satisfy the most discerning families.

Schedule of Fees:
Permanent Referral Fee Live Out & Live In      11% of gross annual salary
Temporary Referral Annual Registration Fee:      $75
Basic Needs (up to 3 children):      $15 per day
Basic Needs (4 or more children):      $20 per day
Sick-Child Care:      $20 per day
Priority (less than 24 hour notice)      $20 per day
Hotel Sitting (no registration fee)      $25 per day
Overnight 24-Hour Care:      $25 per day
Group Care:      Contact Office

A $150 non-refundable Application Fee is required with your permanent referral application. The Permanent Referral Fee is due within 10 days after the nanny is hired, or upon the commencement of the nanny's employment, whichever is sooner. Be Our Nanny offers a ONE YEAR LIMITED GUARANTEE period beginning on the commencement date of the nanny's employment.
